  • When were you drafted or when did you enlist?
  • What do you remember about the day you enlisted?
  • How did you tell your family and friends that you were joining the military?
  • If you enlisted, what were some of the reasons that you joined the military?
  • How did you imagine military life before you joined?

What are some questions about the military?

Common Military Questions

  • What qualifications must I meet in order to join the Military?
  • I’m not sure which Service I’d like best.
  • How do I go about joining the Military?
  • How do I find a recruiter?
  • How long do I have to serve if I join?
  • What’s the Post-9/11 GI Bill worth?

Do stupid Questions exist?

What are stupid questions?

Stupid Questions to Ask

  • Why is it that we call something “cool” when it’s not really cold?
  • Why do we find the smell of gasoline good?
  • Who invented the word “book?”
  • What’s something you do alone that you can’t do with others?
  • Is science really just a way for a person to waste time creating experiments?

It might initially feel awkward to ask for a discount, but the more you ask, the more you’ll get the hang of it. In my experience, most people are happy to say yes to the request, and many times, those who have said no, do so apologetically.

How much is the military paid?

For example, the lowest ranking enlisted member—someone in the paygrade of E-1—with less than two years of service, makes a base pay of $1,681 per month. A 4-star general (O-10), who’s been in the military for 30 years, takes home $19,673 per month in base pay.
